The Sensex ended down (provisional) at 15,128, down 203 points. The NSE Nifty ended down (provisional) at 4,500, down 64 points.

The Sensex is exhibiting sideways movement after having recovered from day's low . The index is now at 15,191, down 140 points.
The Realty and the Metal indices continue to drag the Sensex down.
DLF has tumbled 6.5% to Rs 398. Sterlite and Tata Steel have plunged 5.5% each to Rs 619 and Rs 443, respectively.
Sun Pharma has slipped over 5% to Rs 1,189.
Tata Motors has shed 4.5%. Reliance Infrastructure and HUL have shed nearly 4.5% each.
Jaiprakash Associates, Larsen & Toubro and Reliance Communications have declined over 2% each to Rs 235, Rs 1,462 and Rs 284, respectively.
NTPC, SBI, BHEL and ITC are down 1-1.5% each.
The NSE Nifty is now at 4,503, down 60 points.
The market breadth is fairly negative - out of 2,677 stocks, 1,614 have declined and 984 have advanced.
