The Sensex has finally ended (provisional) almost flat at 14,773, up eight points.

The Sensex zoomed to a high of 14,955. The index has however pared all its gains and is now at 14,790, down 165 points from the day's high.
Sterlite and DLF have advanced 4% to Rs 638 and Rs 338, respectively.
Reliance, ONGC and Tata Steel are the other major gainers.
Tata Motors has plunged 8% to Rs 312.
Sun Pharma has slipped 3.5% to Rs 1,100 and HDIL is down 2.5% at Rs 2,375.
