The Sensex opened almost flat at 9,590 - up six points. The index touched a high of 9,615, then slipped into red to a low of 9,558. The index is now up 16 points at 9,600.
DLF has surged 4.7% to Rs 146. Mahindra & Mahindra has rallied over 3% to Rs 283.
Ranbaxy has gained 2% at Rs 232. TCS, HDFC Bank and Tata Power are up around 1% each at Rs 521, Rs 929 and Rs 786, respectively.
Bharti Airtel has slipped 1.5% to Rs 656. Tata Motors and ONGC have declined over 1% each to Rs 140 and Rs 713, respectively.
Tata Steel is down 1% at Rs 197.
