Sensex in red again; Satyam slips 3%

The Sensex has slipped back into red and is now down 40 points at 14,204.

Hindalco has surged 2.7% to Rs 133, and Sterlite has gained 2.4% at Rs 615.

ACC has moved up 1.7% to Rs 558. Reliance and Reliance Communications are up over 1% each at Rs 2,238 and Rs 403, respectively.

NTPC has slumped nearly 4% to Rs 167. Satyam has tumbled 3% to Rs 387.

BHEL and Grasim have slipped nearly 2% each to Rs 1,638 and Rs 1,928, respectively. Larsen & Toubro has dropped 1.7% to Rs 2,583.

DLF and ONGC have declined nearly 1.5% each to Rs 475 and Rs 995, respectively.

Maruti, ICICI Bank, Wipro and TCS are down over 1% each at Rs 611, Rs 636, Rs 417 and Rs 809, respectively.
