Sensex lacklustre; BHEL, DLF slip

The Sensex is moving sideways and is now down 177 points at 14,124.

The Bankex index is down 2% to 7,967.

Tata Motors has surged over 14.5% to Rs 351. Tata Steel has zoomed 11% to Rs 365.

Mahindra & Mahindra has advanced 7.5% to Rs 675. Hindalco has added 6.5% to Rs 82.

Reliance Infrastructure and Maruti have increased over 5% each to Rs 1,115 and Rs 1,049, respectively.

BHEL and DLF have tumbled 7% each to Rs 2,013 and Rs 358, respectively.
 
Bharti Airtel and ICICI Bank have slipped over 6.5% each  to Rs 835 and Rs 708, respectively.

Sun Pharma and HDFC have dropped over 3.5% each to Rs 1,323 and Rs 2,260, respectively.

The market breadth continues to be highly positive, out of 2,613 shares traded, 2,192 have advanced, 367 have declined and 54 are unchanged so far on the BSE.
