The Sensex is now moving sideways and is holding firm at 16,925, up 134 points.
The NSE Nifty is up 5,030, up 40 points
Hindalco is leading the line of gainers, up around 4% points at Rs 143. ITC and Mahindra & Mahindra have added over 3% each at Rs 256 and Rs 927, respectively.
DLF, Tata Power, Sun Pharma, SBI and Maruti have soared over 2% each.
Infosys ,Wipro and TCS are up around 2% each.
Jaiprakash Associates is the top loser now, has slipped 2% at Rs 233. It is followed by Larsen & Toubro, Grasim Industries and Reliance ,down over 1% each.
The BSE FMCG and healthcare sectoral indices are up 2% each.
The breadth is fairly positive, out of 2,646 shares traded, 1,773 have advanced and 778 have declined so far on the BSE.
