The Sensex has continued to gain and has touched a high of 14,639. The index is now up 384 points (2.6%) at 14,634.
The BSE Auto and IT indices are up 4.5% and 4%, respectively.
Tata Motors has surged 7% to Rs 317. Mahindra & Mahindra has advanced 6.5% to Rs 767.
ICICI Bank, Bhari Airtel, Jaiprakash Assocites and TCS have soared 5% each to Rs 731, Rs 825, Rs 208 and Rs 441, respectively.
DLF, HDFC, Hero Honda and Wipro are up 4.5% each at Rs 333, Rs 2,490, Rs 1,611 and Rs 435, respectively.
SBI, Reliance Infrastructure, Tata Power, Infosys and ITC have increased 3-4% each.
The market breadth remains positive. Out of 2,561 stocks traded 1,721 have advanced while 751 have declined.
