The Sensex has slipped further into the red to a low of 14,807, down 454 points from the day's high. The index is now down 361 points at 14,876.
The market breadth is negative - out of 2,664 stocks traded, 1,912 have declined while 694 have advanced.

The Sensex has slipped further and touched a low of 14,864, down 397 points from the day's high. The index is now at 14,925, down 312 points.
The BSE Oil & Gas, Capital Goods, Metal and Auto indices are down 2.5-4% each.
Sterlite has tumbled 7.3% to Rs 660. Reliance has slumped 7% to Rs 2,180.
Larsen & Toubro, Hindalco, Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Power and Tata Motors have slipped 4-5% each to Rs 1,505, Rs 96, Rs 748 and Rs 1,125, respectively.
Tata Steel, Sun Pharma, Maruti, Wipro and BHEL are down 2-4% each.
ONGC and Reliance Infrastructures have added around 3% each to Rs 1,164 and Rs 1,212, respectively.
Ranbaxy has gained 2% at Rs 288 and Hindustan Unilever is up 1% at Rs 259.
The breadth is extremely negative - out of 2,600 shares traded, 714 have advanced and 1,821 have declined so far on the BSE.
