Sensex regains 15K in opening trades

Mirroring gains the world marekts, the Sensex today opened with a positive gap of 120 points at 14,930. The index is now up 295 points at 15,102.

The NSE Nifty is up 82 points at 4,476.

Maruti has rallied 3.5% to Rs 1,345. Jaiprakash Associates has surged 3% to Rs 213.

Grasim, Hindalco and Tata Steel have gained 2.8% each at Rs 2,534, Rs 106 and Rs 446, respectively.

SBI, Mahindra & Mahindra, ONGC and DLF have advanced around 2.5% each.

All index stocks are in positive zone.
