Sensex up 191pts; HUL down 1%

The Sensex has pared some gains and is now up 191 points at 9,282.

Grasim and Ranbaxy have soared over 4% each to Rs 1,383 and Rs 218, respectively.

Tata Motors and Reliance Infrastructure have rallied nearly 4% each to Rs 540 and Rs 137, respectively.

ICICI Bank, Reliance and TCS have gained around 3.5% each to Rs 405, Rs 1,331 and Rs 499, respectively.

Bharti Airtel has moved up 2.5% to Rs 645. SBI and Tata Steel are up around 2% each at Rs 1,116 and Rs 185, respectively.

Hindustan Unilever (HUL) has declined 1% to Rs 138.

The market breadth is fairly positive - out of 2,474 stocks traded so far, 1,465 have advanced, 906 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
