Sensex up 250 points at 15,765

Fresh buying in IT and technology stocks helped the index rebound into the positive zone, and touched day's high of 15,815 - up 501 points from day's low.

The Sensex finally ended (provisional) with a gain of 250 points at 15,765.

The market breadth was marginally negative - out of 2,711 stocks traded, 1,404 declined, 1,235 advanced and 72 were unchanged today.

The NSE Nifty ended (provisional) with a gain of 85 points at 4,670.
