Sensex up 437pts; DLF, Rel Infra surge 10%

The Sensex opened with a positive gap of 421 points at 10,209. The index touched a high of 10,358, and then slipped to a low of 10,153. The index is now up 437 points at 10,225.

DLF has zoomed 10.5% to Rs 234, and Reliance Infrastructure has soared nearly 10% to Rs 502.

Tata Motors has rallied over 8% to Rs 186. SBI and ICICI Bank have surged 7.7% each to Rs 1,195 and Rs 430, respectively.

DLF has moved up nearly 7% to Rs 64. Tata Steel has gained 6% at Rs 223.

Jaiprakash Associates and HDFC have rallied 5.7% each to Rs 76 and Rs 1,866, respectively.
