Sensex up 48 pts; Infosys down 1.5%

The NSE Nifty is up 25 points at 5,140.

HDFC Bank has gained 2.3% to Rs 1,510. Jaiprakash Associates and HUL is up 1.6% at Rs 270 and to Rs 239 respectively.
 L&T and Reliance Communications is up over 1 % to Rs 3,002 and Rs 595 respectively.SBI, Satyam and Reliance Infra have gained half per cent each.
Hindalco is down 1.7% to Rs 200. Infosys is down 1.5% to Rs 1, 863.
HDFC, TCS and Ambuja Cements have declined over 1.2% to Rs 2,753, Rs 973 and Rs 110 respectively.
ITC, Cipla, Maruti and Wipro are down under half per cent each.
