Sesa Goa has fallen after the comapany reported a slip in Q1 earnings.
The stock opened at Rs 240, touched a high of Rs 242 and slipped into the negative terrain to touch a low of Rs 228. The scrip is now trading at RS 232, down 3% from the previous close.
The company posted a decline of 33% in the net profit at Rs 422 crore for the June quarter as compared to Rs 633 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
The total income declined to 19% to Rs 1,086 crore against Rs 1,341 crore in the previous quarter, a year ago.
