SML Isuzu dips on weak December sales

Sales in December 2015 were lower by 18% at 877 units compared to December 2014

Shares of SML Isuzu were down nearly 4% at Rs 1,185 on the Bombay Stock Exchange after the vehicle manufacturer reported lower sales for December 2015.

Vehicle sales during December 2015 dipped 18% to 877 units compared with 1,073 vehicles sold in December 2014, the company said in a release.

The stock opened at Rs 1,229 and touched a low of Rs 1,180. At 12:25pm, over 45,000 shares were traded on both the stock exchanges.
