Sun Pharma, which currently trading at its record high, with a market capitalisation of Rs 1,32,764 crore at 1140 hours, was climbed to number eight position ahead of HUL and Bharti Airtel having m-cap of Rs 1,31,335 crore and Rs 1,29,916 crore respectively.

Sun Pharma which ranked at number 17 on December 31, has gained 9 positions in the last nine months. The m-cap of the company has risen by Rs 56,596 crore from Rs 76,168 crore at the beginning of the current calendar year 2013.
The stock has outperformed the market by surging 74% so far in 2013, compared to 3.2% rise in benchmark index during the same period.
