Tata Steel gains 0.7%; BHEL down 3.5%

Tata Steel has gained 0.7% at Rs 828. Ambuja Cements and Hindalco have advanced 0.4% to Rs 91 and Rs 175 respectively. ACC and Wipro have gained less than half per cent.

Ranbaxy has declined 5.4% to Rs 557. Bhel is down 3.5% to Rs 1,442. SBI and L&T are down over 3.1% each to Rs 1,305 and 2,650.

HDFC has lost 2.8% to Rs 2,314. ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Maruti, Reliance Infrastructure, Tata Motors and DLF are the other losers.
