 "Tech Mahindra gains on JV with Avion Systems")
Indian IT consulting company Tech Mahindra has gained more than 1% to Rs 2,561 on the BSE after the company entered into a joint venture with US-based global telecom technology firm Avion Systems to provide network design and engineering services to communications service providers.
The JV would be primarily servicing the communication industry in the transformation of current mobile to a virtualized, cloud-enabled and open-systems driven network to spur rapid innovation and adoption.
According to the company, the JV aims to play a significant role as a strategic supplier of choice to the carriers in the final deployment and management of current mobile networks and their planned transformation into the next-generation cloud enabled, virtual and software driven networks.
The stock opened at Rs 2,532, touched a high of Rs 2,574 and a low of Rs 2.532 on the BSE. A total of 8,321shares changed hands on the BSE so far.
