Tin prices rose at the non-ferrous metal market here today on higher industrial demand amid fresh stockists buying.

Elsewhere, copper scrap heavy, copper armiture and copper sheets cutting also moved up due to increased offtake from industrial users.

Meanwhile, copper utensils scrap and brass sheets cutting prices declined owing to reduced offtake from consumer industries.

Tin strengthened by Rs 10 per kilo to Rs 955 from last weekend's closing level of Rs 945.

Copper scrap heavy and copper armiture both moved up by Rs 2 per kilo each to Rs 359 and Rs 353 respectively. Copper sheets cutting inched up by a rupee per kilo to Rs 348.

However, copper utensils scrap fell by Rs 3 per kilo to Rs 331 from Rs 334 and brass sheets cutting softened by a rupee per kilo to Rs 260.
