The total market turnover on both the Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange was Rs 1.25 lakh crore (Rs 1.25 trillion) on Monday..

On the Bombay Stock Exchange, turnover in the cash segment amounted to Rs 2,468 crore while the derivatives segment registered a turnover of Rs 23,574 crore.

On the National Stock Exchange, turnover in the cash segment was Rs 11,968 crore while the turnover in the derivatives segment was Rs 87,000 crore.
