TTK Prestige extends gain post Q4 results
The board has recommended a dividend of Rs 17.50 per share for the financial year 2012-13.
TTK Prestige has rallied 6% to Rs 3,659, extending its previous day’s 2% gain, after reporting 42% year-on-year (yoy) jump in net profit at Rs 28 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2013 on the back of higher operational income. The company which makes kitchen appliances under 'Prestige' brand had reported a profit of Rs 19.74 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal.
“The company’s total income from operations grew 22% to Rs 283 crore compared with Rs 232 crore in the same period last year,” TTK Prestige said in a statement.
Meanwhile, the board of directors have recommended dividend of Rs 17.50 per share for the financial year 2012-13.
The stock opened at Rs 3,460 and touched high of Rs 3,728 on NSE. A combined 84,386 shares already changed hands till 1000 hours compared to an average 35,000 shares that were traded daily in past two weeks on NSE and BSE.
