The Automotive Tyre Manufacturers Association (ATMA) has said that the decision to allow imports of natural rubber only through Kolkata and Vizag ports has amounted to non-tariff barrier. Also the stipulation of imported rubber adhering to BIS norms and importers registering with the Rubber Board were superfluous, the association said.
