US stocks fell on Tuesday because the investors were worried about the impending bank stress test results and energy shares even fell to the pressure of lower oil prices.
The Dow Jones industrial average dipped 16 points( 0.19%) to 8,411 points. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index shed 3 points (0.38%) to 904. The Nasdaq Composite Index dipped 9 points (0.5%) to 1,754.
The Indian ADRs ended on a mixed note. Sterlite shed over 3% to $9.21. HDFC Bank and Dr Reddy's dropped over 2% each to $80.87 and $11, respectively. Infosys tumbled 1% to $32.42.
On the other hand, Genpact surged around 15% to $10.50. MTNL added 3% to $2.80 and Wipro gained over 2.5% to $10.90.
ICICI Bank advanced over 1.5% to $23.84. Tata Communications increased marginally by 0.13% to $23.98.
