US markets end in red; Tata Motors down 3%

The US markets on Friday ended in the red.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped 139 points or 1% to 10,380. The Nasdaq Composite Index declined 2% to 2,265.

The Indian ADRs ended on a mixed note. Tata Motors was the major loser, down 3% to $17.59 and Dr Reddys slipped 2.5% to $25.3, respectively.

Wipro, Mahindra Satyam and Infosys were down 1% each.

While HDFC Bank added 2% to $138.78. Patni Computers and Tata Communications were up 0.5% each.
