US markets mixed; Tata Motors surges

US markets were mixed on Friday.

The Nasdaq dropped seven points to 1,966 after Microsoft reported dissapointing quarterly results. However, the Dow added 24 points to 9,093.

Indian ADRs were also mixed. Tata Motors surged 6.5% to $10.11.

MTNL gained 3% at $4.34. Mahindra Satyam and Dr Reddy's added 2% each to $5.13 and $16.6, respectively.

Sterlite and Wipro also advanced around 1% each.

However, ICICI Bank tumbled 5% to $31.61. HDFC Bank slipped 4% to $96.02. Tata Communications also declined 1%.
