According to sources, the Department of Posts has already communicated to the fund house that the PLI corpus would start flowing in the next 3-4 months. Various estimates confirm that PLI's annual accretion is about Rs 2 crore, half of which will come to UTI. The fund house expects to receive more than Rs 4,000 crore as investments from PSUs this year.

Apart from that, the fund house is also managing Rs 450 crore worth of pension assets under a separate subsidiary known as UTI Retirement Solutions.

Currently, it has two fund managers who will invest the corpus according to Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) guidelines
