Unit Trust of India (UTI) has redesigned its website to be more investor friendly. The revamped portal has provided additional features in existing options, along with introduction of new concepts too.

The new-look site, in its schemes wise portfolio option, would now provide 52 weeks high and low net asset value mark of the selected scheme. It will indicate returns to investors since inception in its performance evaluation chart option. Further, the surfer can also select a date of its choice to derive the returns for selected scheme.

For the first time the fund house would reveal the information on its top ten holdings and would also give sectoral classification of the portfolio holdings in the same menu.

Interestingly, for analysts there are few other interesting features too. The site for first time gives an option of comparing the portfolios for different time period across the schemes. The portfolio holding option would now cover archives of the portfolio too.

On the net asset value, the most important parameter for performance evaluation of mutual fund, the surfer has the option to subscribe for the same. The site also gives a window for investor queries.

The site also has a media room which will display the current press releases. While in its second sub menu, e-release services, the fund behemoth would email the releases to its subscribers. And also has a facility to contact for any of the queries.
