The Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) order for Al Madina Al Shamaliya, the new town being developed in Bahrain, is for a value of over Rs 580 crore, VA Tech Wabag said in a press release.
The project is funded by Abu Dhabi Fund for Economic Development (ADFD). Wabag will design & build the 40MLD Al Madina Al Shamaliya Sewage Treatment Plant for Ministry of Housing Bahrain, the company added.
The stock opened at Rs 799 and touched a high of Rs 818 on the BSE. A combined around 14,000 shares changed hands on the counter on the BSE and NSE till 0917 hours.
