Wall Street bounced back sharply on Thursday on hopes of a comprehensive solution to the current financial crises. The Dow Jones industrial average rallied 410 points to 11,020. The Nasdaq surged 100 points to 2,199.
Indian ADRs, too, ended with significant gains. ICICI Bank and Tata Motors zoomed nearly 12% each to $26.01 and $9.74, respectively. HDFC Bank soared over 11% to $85.60. Sterlite, MTNL and Tata Communications advanced over 9.5% each to $9.65, $4.17 and $20.83, respectively.
