Wall St tanks again; ADRs slide

Wall Street ended deeply into amid worsening credit crises. The Dow Jones industrial average slumped 449 points to 10,610. The Nasdaq plunged 109 points to 2,099.

Indian ADRs, too, ended with sharp cuts. Sterlite tunbled nearly 11% to $8.81. Infosys, Satyam, Wipro, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, MTNL and Dr.Reddy's dropped 4-8% each. Tata Motors and Tata Communications were down around 3% each.
