Wheat dara up on fresh buying

| Prices of other grain maintained last closing levels on some support. Marketmen said fall in supply against frantic buying by rolling flour mills atta chakki, pushed up prices of wheat dara. |
| Wheat dara climbed up by Rs 7 to close at Rs 1,060-1,065 from Rs 1,053-1,058 a quintal on fresh buying interest, while wheat MP deshi maintained last levels on at Rs 1,325-1,600 a quintal. |
| Chakki atta delivery moved up from Rs 1,043-1,045 to close at Rs 1,050-1,055 per 90 kilo bags and rolling flour mills prices too fetched buyers attention on paucity of stocks and traded higher at Rs 1,040-1,045 a 90 kg bag. |
| Following were Tuesday's quotations per quintal (in Rs): wheat MP (deshi) 1,325-1,600, wheat dara (for mills) 1,060-1,065, chakki atta (delivery) 1,050-1,055, chakki atta Rajdhani (10 kg) 145, shakti bhog (10 kg) 155, roller flour mill 1,040-1,045, maida 1,130-1,140 (90 kg) and sooji 1,130-1,150 (90 kg). |
| Rice basmati (lal quila) 6,400, Shri Lal Mahal 6,500, Basmati common 5,600-5,900, Permal raw 1,275-1,300, permal wand 1,450-1,525, sela 1,800-1,900 and rice IR-8 1,150-1,200, Bajra 625-650, Jowar yellow 600-650, white 1,100-1,200, maize 770-790 barley (UP) 1,170-1,185 and Rajasthan 1,180-1,185. |
