Drug firm Wockhardt today said it has redeemed 20.85 crore optionally convertible cumulative redeemable preference shares (OCCRPS) on November 27.
"Pursuant to the modification in the terms of the said (OCCRPS)-1, the company has redeemed the entire 20,85,55,274 (OCCRPS)-1 on November 27, 2012, Wockhardt said in a filing to the BSE.
The shares were optionally convertible on or after October 25, 2015 and if not converted were to be redeemed on December 31, 2018, it added.
Shares of Wockhardt Ltd today closed at Rs 1,601.20on the BSE, down 3.25% from their previous close.
