Chevrolet has plans to launch the new Prisma in India and this will be the companys new sedan that will be competing with the Honda City. The Prisma is sold in the Brazilian car market and this new sedan will be making its way into India. The Prisma and another premium hatchback will be making their way into the Indian car market.
Chevrolet will be getting the new-generation Beat, Cruze, Spin (Essentia), Spin Activ (Ultiva), premium hatchback and Prisma to the Indian car market in the upcoming three years. The new Prisma will be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine and a 1.3-litre diesel engine as well.These new products will be manufactured in the companys Talegaon facility.

At the moment, Chevrolet will be looking at unveiling the new Spin and Spin Activ at the 2016 Auto Expo. One is an MPV and the other ones an SUV. Chevrolet recently commenced exports from their Indian car plant and now it has invested heavily to make India its export base. Chevrolet had launched the Trailblazer recently and about 150 units were imported in India, which are all sold out.
