Heros 250cc bike will be a naked bike and this will be followed by two more bikes with the same engine, one will be a completely faired bike and other will be an adventure one. The new HX250R will have two riding modes too, one is city and other is sport. This bike has been developed by Hero with inputs from EBR. Hero MotoCorp is ready to launch its new bike by mid-2016.The other bike is the 110cc all-new bike that will be churning about 8bhp of power and it is the same engine that powers Maestro Edge and Duet. Hero has plans to get this bike into the market immediately after the Auto Expo.
Heros profitability has shot up on the new scooters like Maestro Edge and Duet as these do not have any royalty fees to Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India. The new bike will also increase the companys revenue. Hero is entering several new markets and in the coming few years, it is looking at doubling its number from 20 to 40 in a few years (with no exact timeline specified).
