Ten South Korean children and two others were killed when a school bus crashed and burst into flames in a tunnel in eastern China on Tuesday.
The children were aged four and seven and lived in the city of Weihai in Shandong province where the accident happened, local media reports.
"At least nine children were confirmed dead and three others missing after a fire triggered by vehicles broke out in a tunnel in Weihai city, east China's Shandong Province, The Global Times reported.
The bus burst into flames in the tunnel at around 9:00am, according to Xinhua news agency.
The cause of the crash is not known and investigation has been ordered to find out the details of the accident.
