The Nepal Armed Police Force (APF) on Sunday detained 13 Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) jawans along the Indo-Nepal border near Bihar's Kishanganj district.
The SSB jawans, who were chasing diesel smugglers, crossed the border by mistake. The villagers detained them and handed them over to the Nepal Police.
Initially, two SSB jawans were detained following which 11 others crossed the border to see the condition but they were also taken into custody by the Nepal APF, SSB Inspector General (Operations), Deepak Kumar, told ANI.
