'2 Guns' tops weekend box office with $27M debut

Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg's new movie '2 Guns' topped the U.S. weekend box office with earnings amounting to 27.4 million dollars.

The action-comedy knocked off Hugh Jackman starrer 'The Wolverine' to the second spot, Contactmusic reported.

Another new release 'The Smurfs 2' bagged the 3rd spot with 18.2 million dollars collection.
