Two senior officials of National Intelligence Service and National Security Office in South Korea are scheduled to visit Japan next week.

Suh Hoon, the director of National Intelligence Service and Nam Gwan-pyo the deputy chief of presidential National Security Office of Korea, will visit Japan on March 11 to brief them about their meeting with the North Korean delegation, as per Yonhap news agency.

Both North and South Korea have established a dialogue among them regarding the denuclearisation of North Korea after being persisted by Japan and United States.

South Korea had earlier sent a team of envoys to North Korea to discuss regarding denuclearisation. Post which the North Korean leader agreed to hold a summit with President Moon Jae-in in April and further expressed willingness to hold denuclearisation talks with the United States.

The official spokesperson of presidential office of South Korea Cheong Wa Dae said, "Special envoys will meet and discuss regarding the ways for future cooperation".

On the similar lines, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe would be meeting the US president Donald Trump in April to pressurise North Korea to abandon its nuclear program.

On Thursday, President Trump accepted an invitation and agreed to meet North Korean leader Kim Jon Yung in May. However, he stated that sanctions on North Korea would remain in place until the communist country achieved denuclearisation.
