21 injured in Chitwan bus accident

At least 21 people got injured when a tourist bus met with an accident at Aaptari in Bharatpur Sub-Metropolitan of Nepal's Chitwan district on Saturday.

According to Chitwan District Police Office, the incident occurred after the driver lost control of the vehicle, heading towards Kathmandu from Damak carrying 21 farmers of Navajagaran Farmers Group, due to over speeding, reports The Himalayan Times.

Among the injured, 10 are receiving treatment at the Bharatpur Hospital while 11 others are being treated at the Chitwan Medical Hospital.

The police have impounded the bus and the driver has been arrested for investigation.
