A seven-year-old British schoolboy is reportedly being chased by a string of top Premier League football teams as he has hit the net a record 123 times in just 18 games this season in matches across Merseyside, England.
The last player to come anywhere close to Ben Trueman's incredible record was a ten-year-old Michael Owen, the former England, Liverpool and Real Madrid ace, who only managed 92 goals back in 1989 at that age.
According to the Daily Star, Trueman's goal exploits for Haydock FC Under-7s have got him under the radar of top four clubs- Liverpool, Everton, Manchester United and Manchester City, and he has trained in the academies of all the four clubs.
Last season, Trueman bagged 19 goals in one game as he helped Haydock to a 29-0 victory over Winstanley Warriors, the report added.
