A 78-year old wheelchair-bound woman on Tuesday cast her vote as the re-polling is underway in Goa's Margao.
"It is every citizen's duty to vote," said the old woman.
The re-polling is underway at polling booth number eight in Margao constituency.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) earlier on Sunday ordered for re-polling for the polling station no. eight of Margao constituency of South Goa.
The re-polling was recommended in the station as voting was cancelled due to faulty procedure.
As of now, the Goa Assembly elections saw a record voter turnout of 83 percent.
It was also said that for the first time, 100 percent use of electronically transmitted postal ballot system was done in the state.
