7kg gold worth3.75 crore seized at Dhaka Airport

Customs and intelligence officials have detained four people along with 60 gold bars weighing seven kilogrammes at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka.

Mustafizur Rahman, Deputy Director of Customs Intelligence, said that the officials seized the gold bars while searching Jabed and Kanchan at the Domestic Lounge, after they arrived in a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight from Abu Dhabi via Sylhet, Bangladesh's Daily Star reported.

According to reports, the price of the seized gold is worth Tk 3.75 crore.
