Police has said that nine people have been killed in a shootout between rival biker gangs in the city of Waco in the U.S. state of Texas.
The incident took place at the Twin Peaks Sports Bar and Grill in a shopping area called the Central Texas Market Place, reported the BBC.
Cops said that eight people had died on the spot while a ninth passed away in hospital. All were bikers. At least 18 others were hurt.
A witness said that the parking lot of the restaurant looked like a "war zone." She added that may be 100 rounds were fired from 30 guns.
Diners at the cafe said that they had locked themselves up inside a freezer room along with the staff, and were later escorted off the premises by armed police.
