Looks like Music maestro A.R Rahman is having a deja vu!
The legendry music composer, who has now donned director's hat for an international Virtual Reality feature 'Le Musk,' while speaking to ANI, said, he's as excited about his directorial debut, as he was for 'Roja.'
"There is lot of parallels from my first movie to this. Exactly the same feeling I'm having that I had when I was doing 'Roja' more than two decades back. Though, now we had much more support, that time it was just Mani Ratnam and my family," the music maestro said, during a candid conversation, here.
Rahman recently launched the prelude of his directional debut, the world's first cinematic Virtual Reality immersive narratives.
The India prelude of 'Le Musk' comes after being showcased at the 'NAB', Las Vegas, as part of the Intel-Keynote.
Talking about the film, he said, "'Le Musk' is an experiment and I am just waiting for more reactions. We had a lot of kind reactions from 'NAB', Las Vegas."
Adding, "Feelings are mixed because it's such a new technology. Not about the content but the way people are going to experience VR, putting the headset. It's going to take some time for people to get used to that stuff."
Shot in picturesque Rome, the film follows the journey of an orphaned heiress and part-time musician, Juliet, who grows up to be a diva on a mission.
Written, directed and scored by A.R. Rahman, the film stars Nora Arnezeder, Guy Burnet, Munirih Jahanpour and Mariam Zohrabyan in lead roles.
