The Delhi High Court on Wednesday issued a notice to the Centre and asked as to why Aadhar Card is mandatory for the students from minority communities to avail various central scholarships.
Union Minister for Urban Development M. Venkaiah Naidu had in July issued a statement which said the use of Aadhar Card besides removing bogus and duplicates will ensure that benefits that are meant for beneficiary is only enjoyed by the concerned person.
