An First Investigation Report (FIR) has been filed against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Somnath Bharti and his supporters for allegedly misbehaving with security guards of AIIMS.

The incident took place on September 9 when Bharti and his men allegedly injured six security guards of AIIMS. An FIR has been filed at the Hauj Khas Police Station.

Bharti was earlier in July booked for allegedly 'instigating' some men to misbehave with a woman.

Earlier, the AAP MLA had been chargesheeted for attempting to kill his wife Lipika Mitra and inflicting cruelty on her in a domestic violence case.

He also faces charges of molestation and assault and promoting enmity stemming from the January 2014 raid on the African nationals in Malviya Nagar's Khirki Extension.

AAP, which was formally launched in 2012, is currently embroiled in several controversies.

Yesterday, AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan's sister-in-law filed a complaint against him alleging eve teasing, at the Jamia Police Station in Delhi.

Khan was arrested in July for allegedly threatening a 35-year-old woman with dire consequences, but was later granted bail.

The AAP legislator from Okhla constituency found himself in the eye of a major controversy in March this year for his alleged hate speech against the Modi government.
