The Aam Aadmi Party on Sunday released a list containing the department-wise breakup of the 35 officers arrested by the Anti Corruption Branch (ACB).
The list, which was released on twitter, informs that the maximum number of officers arrested were from the Excise Department (12), followed by the Delhi Jal Board (nine). The list also reveals that one officer from the Delhi Police was also arrested by the ACB.
The Bharatiya Janata Party had earlier this month called for the Arvind Kejriwal-led government in the city to release the names of all the officers it has arrested or suspended on charges of corruption.
The Delhi government's anti-corruption posters, which have adorned the city, highlight the success of the anti-graft helpline, which has resulted in the arrest of 35 officers and the suspension of 152 officials.
