Naveen Jaihind, an AAP leader, said, "We went to Rohtak and Chandigarh as well, now we are protesting here as well. We are raising various issues here. Government schools have been suffering badly in Haryana. There is corruption in every government scheme. We have also raised the voice of the police, why are they not being paid Punjab police wage commission. We have raised each and every issue. In Haryana, they are opening liquour stores everywhere. They should first get consent of 60% women before opening such liquour shops."

The protesters were also involved in a scuffle with the police.
