A member of the Abbottabad Commission has reportedly said that the inquiry report carried out by Al Jazeera was the first draft and not the final version submitted to former prime minister.
The final report was presented to then prime minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on January 2, the Dawn News reports.
According to the report, Jehangir Ashraf Qazi, a member of the Abbottabad Commission, has informed the Senate Committee on Defence that the final report is a diluted version of the draft report that is highly critical of the armed forces, particularly ISI, for its failures and hindering the growth of civilian intelligence organisations.
