Legendary Pakistan leg-spinner Abdul Qadir admitted that national selection committee has made a brave decision by including two leg-spinners in their 15-man squad for the World Cup.
Qadir, who claimed 236 wickets in his 67 Tests, said that it was a very brave decision and a gamble to include both Shahid Afridi and Yasir Shah in the 15-man squad, the Express Tribune reported.
Qadir believes that leg-spinners could turn out to be match winners on their day but it would not be easy to bowl in Australia and New Zealand. He further said that if the wickets suit them, then they could turn out to be unplayable, the report added.
The ICC's pinnacle tournament is scheduled to be jointly held by Australia and New Zealand from February 14.
